The Van Wert varsity girls’ tennis team defeated Lima Senior in a non-conference match by a score of 4-1 to improve to 8-5 on the season. Results are as follows:

• No. 2 singles — Kali Agler (VW) defeated Reghan Winhler (LS) 6-0, 6-0
• No. 3 singles — Anasha Grisby (LS) defeated Cheyenne Brown (VW) 6-4, 4-6 (10-6)
• No. 1 doubles — Katie Trittschuh/Phoebe Eutsler (VW) defeated Zoey Wurgess/Yessenia Alvarez (LS) 6-0, 6-0
