CONVOY — The 26th annual Van Wert County Hospital Cross Country Invitational hosted by Crestview Middle and Senior High School will be held this Saturday, September 26, at Van Wert County Hospital in Van Wert.

A total of 26 schools will participate in this invitational, which will start with an elementary 1-mile fun run at 8:30 a.m. Middle school boys and girls races follow at 9 and 9:30 a.m., respectively.  The varsity boys’ blue division (small school) race begins at 10 a.m. and the varsity boys’ red division (big school) race follows at 10:35 a.m. Varsity girls’ blue and red division races follow at 11:10 a.m. and 11:45 a.m.

Awards will be presented at 12:15 p.m.

Schools involved in the Van Wert County Hospital Invitational in the Blue division include Ottoville, Delphos St. John’s, Lincolnview, New Bremen, Minster, Ada, Ayersville, Spencerville, Mohawk, Parkway, Bluffton, East Canton and this year’s host Crestview.

Schools in the Red division include Allen East, Paulding, Liberty-Benton, Coldwater, Ottawa-Glandorf, Van Wert, Wauseon, Kenton, Bryan, Shawnee, Elida and Columbus Grove.

Schools participating at the middle school level include Holy Rosary in St. Marys.
