Anna Mae Freshwater

Anna Mae Freshwater, 90, of Antwerp, died Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at Laurels of DeKalb in Butler, Ind.

She was born August 20, 1920, in Oakwood, the daughter of the late Frank and Gail (Stauffer) Carnahan. On September 18, 1943, she married Howard Freshwater, who preceded her in death in 1992.

Survivors include a daughter, Karen of Antwerp; and two sisters, Eleanor Fellers of Paulding and Dorothy Lothamer of Fort Wayne, Ind.

Ten siblings also preceded her in death.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 30, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 610 Flat Rock Drive, Paulding.

There will be no calling hours.
