Knight boys 3rd, girls 6th at Botkins meet

BOTKINS — The Crestview High School boys’ and girls cross country teams competed at the Best in the West Invitational in Botkins on Saturday.

The Lady Knights finished sixth out of seven teams. The top five scorers were Leslie Skelton, Ashley Bowen, Lauren Schumm, Nevada Smith and Brooke Ripley. Schumm and Smith both ran personal record times.

The Crestview boys’ team earned a third place plaque in a race that featured 12 teams. The Knights’ top five scorers were Adam Saylor, Caleb Bagley, Jordan Perrott, Dylan Sparks, and Andrew Boley. Noah Daugherty and Tyler White both ran personal record times.
