CHP honors volunteer

Community Health Professionals recognized volunteer Ruth Osting for 16 years of service. Fellow volunteer Jean Brown (Left), who was trained by Osting, presented her with a plaque on behalf of the organization. Osting assisted clients for several years at CHP’s Adult Day Care Center in Van Wert. Many times she brought in food and treats for diabetic clients. She also helped with Rays of Hope bereavement camp and was a trained hospice volunteer. Volunteers can make a big impact in the lives of patients and staff and play a vital role in the services provided by the nonprofit home health and hospice agency.
