Historical Society to mark Van Wart b-day

The public is invited to Van Wert namesake Isaac Van Wart’s 253rd birthday party.

Join the Van Wert Historical Society as it wishes the American Revolutionary War hero a happy birthday.  Van Wert’s own Isaac Van Wart (Tom Mosier) will be in period clothes talking with visitors about his life adventures.

Kids’ activities will include games, arts and crafts, and writing spy letters. Also, a party is not a party without a special birthday cake, so be sure to grab a piece.  Party activities will be held on the museum campus from 2-4:30 p.m. Sunday, October 25.
