Joette F. Jones

Joette F. Jones, 59, of Van Wert, died at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2015, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.

She was born March 15, 1956, in Van Wert, the daughter of Joseph and Edna (Dunlap) Harman, who are both deceased.

Survivors include three children, Shawn Michael Jones of Toledo and Benjamin (Nikki Staten) Jones and Nicole Jones, both of Van Wert; a sister, Carol Germann of Ohio City; and one granddaughter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 27, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Clark Williman officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, October 26, at the funeral home (all those attending are encouraged to wear Ohio State Buckeye attire.

Preferred memorials: To the family for her granddaughter or a charity of donor’s choice.
