Halloween fun

The ghouls, ghosts, witches and other frightful creatures were out in force on Saturday around the area, with a number of Halloween activities and events held around Van Wert and out into the county. Two big events were held in Van Wert, with downtown trick or treating held Saturday morning, along with a chance to see and pose with some wonderful creatures created by local resident Judy Geary (above). Hundreds of local children and their parents also attended the Fall Fright Festival held Saturday in the Commercial Building on the Van Wert County Fairgrounds, with costume judging shown below.
