Josephine Defevers

Josephine “Jo” Defevers of Van Wert died at 5:37 p.m. Friday, October 30, 2015, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center, surrounded by family members and a friend.

Survivors include two children, Frances Joy Kline and Don Defevers, both of Van Wert; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters; and a brother.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 5, at Grace Bible Church in Van Wert, with the Rev. Lance Hostetler officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.

Calling hours are from 10-11 a.m. Thursday at the church.

Preferred memorials: To the family, Grace Bible Church, Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center or to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Arrangements were handled by Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert.
