Eaton offers United Way Bag Bingo event

Members of the Eaton United Way committee will be hosting the sixth annual United Way Bag Bingo. The event will be held on Saturday, November 14, at the Van Wert County Council on Aging, 220 Fox Road in Van Wert.

Doors open at 8:15 a.m., with early bird bingo scheduled for 9 a.m. Early bird cards will be sold the day of the event for $5. The winner will receive $500 cash. After early bird bingo, another 20 games of bingo will be played, with the winners of each game receiving a Stephanie Dawn bag filled with items totaling $50 or more. Throughout the morning door prizes will also be given away. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Advance sell tickets are $15 and are available at the United Way office, 1151 Westwood Drive in Van Wert, or from any Eaton United Way Committee member. Tickets can also be purchased the day of the event for $20. All proceeds will benefit United Way of Van Wert County. Participants must present their ticket and be 18 to play.
