Christmas lights to go up soon in Wren

Wren Christmas Society information

WREN — Christmas decorations will be put up in Wren on Saturday, November 21, and the official lighting ceremony will be held Saturday, November 28, at dark (approximately 6 p.m.).

Santa and Mrs. Claus will be in Wren at the Santa House at the corner of Ohio 49 and Jackson Street on Saturday, December 12, and Friday and Saturday, December 18-19, from 6 to 8 pm.  Carriage rides, hot chocolate, and cookies will be available during Santa hours.

The Wren Christmas Society also thanked everyone who purchased chicken dinner tickets and donated money, along with Gibson’s Barnyard BBQ for preparing the chicken dinners.

The money raised will be used to help pay for the replacement of pole wraps and lights for this Christmas season.
