Gladys Hanf

Gladys Hanf, 85, of Delphos, and formerly of Cincinnati, died Monday, December 21, 2015, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Delphos.

She was born June 11, 1930, in Washington, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Clayton and Esther (Inks) Failinger, who both preceded her in death. On August 1, 1960, she married Norman Hanf, who also preceded her in death.

Survivors include a brother, George Failinger of Washington, Pennsylvania; and eight nieces and nephews.

A brother, Clayton L. Failinger Jr.; and one sister, Mary Alice McClure, also preceded her in death.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 8 a.m. Wednesday, December 23, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos, with Father Dennis Walsh officiating. Graveside services will be held at noon Wednesday at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Cincinnati.

Calling hours are from 7:15 o 7:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hater and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos.

Preferred memorials: St. Rita’s Hospice in Lima.
