Crestview project

The Crestview Elementary fourth grade students agreed to spend the month of December working towards a monetary donation to the Heifer International Organization. This organization takes donations for supplying underprivileged countries with animals to help them build their resources and improve their living standards. As part of the project, the students had to complete an informative article, a math poster on the financial effects, PowerPoint presentations, and leadership service activities to help raise money. In the end, the fourth graders raised $1,500.96, which far exceeded their original goal of $500!  With the money, the Crestview students earned enough money to supply the organization with three heifers.
