Olse W. Hernandez

Olse W. Hernandez, 85, of Van Wert, died at 12:40 p.m., Monday, January 11, 2016, at the Lima Memorial Hospital.

He was born March 17, 1930, in Spanish Lake, Louisiana, the son of John and Rose Hernandez, who both preceded him in death.

Survivors include a son, Jim (Marilyn) Hernandez of Van Wert; one daughter, Sherry Hernandez of Van Wert; an adopted son, Eric Hernandez; five grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; seven stepgreat-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, January 16, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Pastor Bill Watson officiating.

Calling hours are from 1-5 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
