Larry Don Kohn

Larry Don Kohn, 78, formerly of Van Wert, died Friday, December 31, 2010, in Simpsonville, S.C.

He was born November 10, 1932, in Willshire Township, Van Wert County, the son of the late Lloyd McKee and Delora Irene (Neiford) Kohn. He married Ruby (Taylor) Kohn, who survives.

Other survivors include four daughters, Connie (Dewey) Fondren, Deb (Randy) Morrison, Kim (Bill) Deaton and Cindy (Mike) Krugh; two sisters, Wanda (Bill) Schaffner and Betty (Wayne) Williams; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

His first wife, Opal Mae Taylor, and a sister, Mary Ellen Kohn, also preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held Monday, January 3, in Greenville, S.C. A graveside service with military honors will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 5, at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ohio City, with the Rev. Derrick Torrey officiating.
