Michael G. Bowers

Michael G. Bowers, 63, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, died at 10:02 p.m. Friday, January 22, 2016, at Home Hospice of Fort Wayne.

He was born May 9, 1952, in Lima, the son of Leonard Bowers and Juanita (Craig) Druckemiller, who both preceded him in death. He married Debra (Free) Bowers, who survives in Fort Wayne.

Survivors include a son, Michael D. (Barb) Bowers of Van Wert; one stepbrother, Richard (Kelley) Druckemiller; two sisters, B.J. Rager and Cindy Tippie; a stepsister, Margo (Gordon) Drake; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

A brother, Patrick Bowers, also preceded him in death.

Private family funeral services will be conducted at a later date. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

There will be no visitation.
