YMCA offers spring swimming lessons

Registration for the upcoming spring swim session at the YMCA of Van Wert County is going on now through April 2. Registration fees are $15 for family members, $25 for youth members, and $70 for potential members, with a late fee of $10 for all who register after April 2.
“The Y provides the most up-to-date American Red Cross approved swimming and water safety program,” stated Martha Martin, Van Wert YMCA aquatic director. “It keeps a fun atmosphere, while combining the best in swim instruction with an even stronger emphasis on drowning prevention and water safety — ideal for anyone wanting to enjoy the water safely, regardless of age or skill level.”
All YMCA classes are taught by Red Cross certified instructors, with over 120 years of combined aquatic instruction experience.

This spring swim session will run from April 4 through May 28.
