Early voting ends at 2 p.m. Monday, March 14. Regular voting locations will be open on Tuesday, March 15, from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Just a reminder that 17-year-olds who will be 18 by November 8 and have registered with the Board of Elections may vote. Seventeen-year-olds can vote in the primary, but only on the nomination of candidates to the general election ballot.

A 17-year-old is not permitted to elect candidates, which is what voters are doing in a primary when they elect delegates to represent them at their political party’s national convention or vote on issues. Again, they are not permitted to vote on presidential delegates or alternate delegates, State Central Committee party candidates or local county party Central Committee candidates.
