Beatrice O. (Myers) Haines

Beatrice O. (Myers) Haines, 95, of Van Wert, died at 5 a.m. Sunday, March 13, 2016, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Van Wert.

She was born January 3, 1921, in Van Wert County, the daughter of Fred and Orah (Rummel) Myers, who both preceded her in death. On October 17, 1959, she married Louis E. Haines, who died February 10, 1994.

Family survivors include her nephew, Ned (Linda) Springer of Ohio City; a niece, B. Elaine (James) Anspaugh of Van Wert; two step daughters, Barbara (Charles) Cousens of Wisconsin and Sandra (Fred) Sargent, Sr. of Van Wert; and other nieces and nephews.

A sister, Reba Eva Springer; and one brother-in-law, Kenneth A. Springer, also preceded her in death.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 17, at Mount Tabor Cemetery in St. Marys Township, Adams County, Indiana, with the Rev. Steve A. Robinson officiating.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Preferred memorials are to the donor’s local Bible House.
