Day of Prayer 2011

A number of faithful Van Wert County residents came together Thursday to pray for local leaders in many areas, as well as families and community resources, during the local observance of the National Day of Prayer. The Van Wert County Ministerial Association held a noon event in front of the Van Wert County Courthouse, led by Jennings Road Church of Christ Pastor David Ray, as well as an evening prayer service at the S.F. Goedde Building. Those who participated (above and right, for example) prayed for various local, state and national entities, including those serving in the military, media outlets and representatives, government agencies and leaders, families, the economy at all levels and schools.
