ODOT lists road projects for coming week

LIMA — The Ohio Department of Transportation’s District 1 has listed the following schedule of projects on state highways in Van Wert, Paulding, and Putnam counties. For the latest in statewide construction, visit www.ohgo.com.

Projects include the following:

Van Wert County

U.S. 30, both directions, west of the city of Van Wert will be reduced to one lane through the work zone for sealing of pavement cracks. The ODOT Van Wert County maintenance garage is performing the work.

ODOT Logo (.jpg)U.S. 127 (Washington Street) between Fox Road and Ervin Road in the city of Van Wert will be closed beginning April 11 for reconstruction and widening of the road. Access to local businesses will be maintained. Traffic will be detoured onto Ohio 81, Ohio 118, Ervin Road/Van Wert-Decatur Road, U.S. 224 and U.S. 30 back to U.S. 127. The closure will remain in place until fall. Helms & Sons Excavating of Findlay is performing the work.

Paulding County

U.S. 24 throughout the county will be restricted for pothole patching. The ODOT Paulding County maintenance garage is performing the work.

Ohio 49 north of the village of Payne, between Road 94 and Road 96, was closed March 21 for 60 days for a bridge replacement project. Traffic detoured onto Ohio 500 and Ohio 111 back to Ohio 49. Vernon Nagel of Napoleon is performing the work.

Putnam County

Ohio 694, between Ohio 114 and 115, will be restricted for sealing of pavement cracks. The Putnam County ODOT maintenance garage is performing the work.
