Lancer girls 1st, boys 2nd in tri-meet

The Lincolnview Lancer track and field team competed in a home tri-meet against Crestview and Delphos Jefferson. The Lady Lancers won their meet, while the boys finished second, two points behind the Wildcats.

Lincolnview athletes winning their events include the following:

Rylee Byrne in the 800- and 1,600-meter runs; Brayden Langdon in the 400-meter dash; Alyssa Matthews in the shotput; the 4×800-meter girls’ relay team (Langdon, Byrne, Welker, Gorman), the 4×400-meter girls’ relay team (Langdon, Snyder, Klausing, Byrne); Karter Tow in the 1,600- and 3,200-meter runs; Chandler Adams in the discus; Hunter Blankemeyer in the 100-meter hurdles and the high jump; Trevor Neate in the 800-meter run; the 4×400-meter boy’s relay team (Snyder, Ludwig, Neate, Blankemeyer), and the 4×800-meter boys’ relay team (Elick, Tow, Snyder, Neate).
