Carol Ann Leppard

Carol Ann Leppard, 54, of Van Wert, died at 6:16 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at Lima Memorial Hospital.

She was born October 21, 1961, in Van Wert, the daughter of Kenneth Thompson, who preceded her in death, and Nancy L. Barnett, survives in Van Wert.

Other survivors include her stepmother, Penny Thompson; a daughter, Jessica R. (Justin Taylor) Leppard of Van Wert; three sons, Lance J. (LeAnna Coil) Thompson of Paulding, and Wesley A. Thompson and Robert E. Thompson, both of Van Wert; one sister, Jody (Shawn) Comer of Van Wert; and seven grandchildren.

Her stepfather, Robert Franklin Thompson; and a brother, Jay Dee Thompson, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, April 25, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Pastor Ernie Long officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

Visitation is from 1-5 p.m. Sunday, April 24, and an hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home.
