VWPD seeks help in finding wallet’s owner

The Van Wert Police Department is seeking assistance in locating the owner of a wallet found in the city earlier this year.

A local resident turned the wallet into the police department after reportedly finding it in the southwestern part of the city near the end of January. The wallet is black in color and contained some money, but no identification of any kind.

Anyone missing a wallet should contact the VWPD at 419.238.2462 and provide further description of wallet and contents.
