Medicare event held

Ohio Senior Health Information Program (OSHIIP) held a “Welcome to Medicare” event at Van Wert County Council on Aging earlier this week. David Painter (above, standing), OSHIIP community liaison from The Ohio Department of Insurance, spoke to individuals about benefits provided by Medicare, deadlines, Medicare Advantage plans, supplemental insurance, and prescription drug coverages. More than 70 individuals from Van Wert, surrounding counties, and even some as far as Michigan attended the informational event.
