Clarence Franklin Beach

Clarence Franklin Beach, 83, of Greenwood, Indiana, and formerly of Van Wert, died at 5:55 p.m. Saturday, July 2, 2016, at Community Hospital-South in Indianapolis.

He was born April 12, 1933, in Ohio City, the son of Perry Andrew and Lela Luella (Felver) Beach, who both preceded him in death. On October 31, 1958, he married the former Patricia Ann Rupert, who survives in Greenwood.

Other survivors include a daughter, Tammy K. (Bill) Britton of Greenwood; two sons, Timothy A. Beach of Austin, Texas, and Todd A. (Mayra) Beach of Corpus Christi, Texas; 10 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one brother, Richard H. Beach of Van Wert; and two sisters, Lois L. Williams of Columbia, South Carolina, and Sarah E. (Herbert) McConn of Ohio City.

A brother, Clifford Perry Beach, and a brother-in-law, Richard “Dick” Williams, also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 7, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert. Burial will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ohio City, where American Legion Post 346, also of Ohio City, will render military honors.

Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials: Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center or Community Hospital Hospice in Indianapolis.
