Knights, Cougars to play in jamboree

CONVOY — The Crestview varsity football team will be hosting the Van Wert Cougars in a jamboree game on Friday, August 19, starting at 7 p.m. at the Crestview Athletic Complex.

The jamboree is approved by the Ohio High School Athletic Association and both schools contribute financially to the OHSAA Foundation, which provides scholarships to Ohio student-athletes.

Gate admission is $5 for adults and $4 for students. Fans are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to have their gate admission reduced to $3 for adults and $2 for students. Season passes are not honored for this event and the game does not count as a regular season contest for either school.

Come out and enjoy an evening of pre-season football as the Knights and Cougs look to improve in preparation for the 2016 regular season.
