Convoy Fire & EMS plan CCD activities

CONVOY — Convoy Fire & EMS will be participating in the Convoy Community Days Parade on Saturday, September 24, starting at 2 p.m.

Following the parade, Parkview Samaritan medical transport helicopter (if available) will land around 3 p.m. at Edgewood Park.

At the park shelterhouse, Convoy Fire Department will be holding a demonstration of equipment and hands-on kids’ activities, including spraying fire hoses, as well as free gifts for the kids that includes a fire helmet.

Kids may also enter a raffle to be chosen to take a ride in a fire truck, while there will also be a raffle for two free smoke detectors and a first aid kit donated by Van Wert Fire Equipment.
