Joyce Ann Noonan

Joyce Ann Noonan, 68, of Delphos, died at 11:25 a.m. Thursday, May 19, 2011, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born May 30, 1942, in Lima, the daughter of the late Eugene and Dorothy (Wright) Schmersal.

Survivors include two sons, Jeff Noonan of Delphos and Doug (Katrina) Noonan of Hamilton; a daughter, Lisa (Lee) Kehres of Delphos; one sister, Kathleen Hittle of Spencerville; and eight grandchildren.

Two brothers, William and Tucker Schmersal, also preceded her in death.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, May 23, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos, with Father Jacob Gordon officiating. Burial will be held at a later date.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Sunday, May 22, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, where a Spencerville Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary memorial service will be held at 7 that evening, and a parish wake at 7:30 p.m.
