Economic Development dinner date set

The Van Wert County Economic Development Group has announced that the annual Economic Development Dinner will be held Wednesday, June 22, at Willow Bend.

Project managers Dan Litchfield of Iberdrola Renewables and Erin Bowser of Horizon Wind Energy team up to speak about their wind farm projects, including the economic impact of the farms for the Van Wert and Paulding County areas.

The dinner also includes an annual report from Economic Development Director and OSU Extension Educator Nancy Bowen and an awards presentation for the “Enterprise of the Year” and “Volunteer of the Year.”

The event begins with a reception at 5:30 p.m., dinner and program at 6:15, and concludes at 8 p.m.  Tickets are $30 for individuals and $50 for couples. To RSVP, call the OSU Extension Economic Development Office at 419.238.2999.
