Wanda Hunt

Wanda Hunt, 79, of Antwerp, died Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at the Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born August 12, 1931, in Antwerp, the daughter of the late Harry and Bessie (Starry) Drexler. On August 11, 1950, she married George Hunt, who preceded her in death on June 20, 2004.

Survivors include one granddaughter, and two great-grandchildren.

A son, David Hunt, and one sister, Frances Slattery, also preceded her in death.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, June 3, at Antwerp United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Michael Schneider officiating.

There will be no calling hours.
