Carol A. Zizelman

Carol A. Zizelman, 77, of Rockford, passed away at 7:28 p.m. Sunday, August 6, 2017, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.

She was born April 13, 1940, to Spencer Edward and Velma Pauline (Comer) Lewis, who both preceded her in death. On November 24, 1960, she married Ken Zizelman, who survives in Rockford.

Other survivors include two children, Carla (Rob) Frank and Lee Ann (Paul) Frank; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. A brother, Richard E. Lewis, also survives in Riverside, California.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 11, at St. Paul United Church of Christ near Rockford, with Pastor Mark Rutledge officiating, assisted by Doug Rich. 

Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, August 10, at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home in Rockford, and an hour prior to services Friday at the church.
