Eclipse photos

Van Wert independent photographer Bob Barnes took this progressive photo series of the eclipse seen locally on Monday. The total eclipse, the  first since 1979, was viewed by millions of people nationwide, although optimal viewing was only available in a strip of land that extended from Oregon to Georgia. The path of the next total eclipse, in April 2024, will go right over Van Wert.
