Holiday at Home parade entries sought

The Van Wert County “Holiday at Home” Parade Committee extends an invitation to everyone to participate in its 28th annual celebration.

The “Holiday at Home” parade will begin at 11 a.m., Monday, July 4. Awards will include Best Marching, Best Commercial Entry, Best Non-Commercial Entry, Best Theme and Best Church Entry.

The parade will begin at Main and Cherry streets, by the YWCA, and proceed down Main Street to the YMCA, turn north onto Shannon Street and disband in that area. Parade line-up is on Cherry Street, north and south of Main Street, with registration on the corner of Main and Cherry.

An entry form may be picked up at The Van Wert County Board of Elections office, 120 E. Main Street, Van Wert, OH 45891 (click here for a form).
