Walter Floyd Lang
Walter Floyd Lang, 66, of Grover Hill, died at 4:50 a.m. Thursday, June 16, 2011, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.
He was born March 27, 1945, in Defiance, the son of the late Paul Clarence and Donelda (Dirr) Lang. On February 26, 1965, he married Elma Jean (Farris) Lang, who survives in Grover Hill.
Other survivors include three sons, Everett Lang of Brussels, Wis., Walter Richard Lang of Ravenna and Thaddeus Lang of Grover Hill; two daughters, Beth Ann Ross of Cloverdale and Donelda Klewer of Grover Hill; two brothers, Robert Lang and Alonzo Dirr, both of Defiance; two sisters, Rachel Post and Sally Yocklin, both of Defiance; and 13 grandchildren.
Two brothers, Ralph “Buster” Lang and Donald Lang; and four sisters, Mary Leonard, Doris Bauman, Norma Lee Lang and Ruth Ann Lang, also preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 23, at Pioneer Christian Ministries, 17936 Road 108, Paulding, with Pastor Chuck Oliver officiating.
Calling hours are an hour prior to services Thursday at the church.
