Penelope Ann Snyder

Penelope Ann Snyder 66 of Payne, passed away Monday, March 12, 2018, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

Penny was born and raised in Van Wert on August 21, 1951, a daughter of Byron and Mildred (Bell) Hayes, who both preceded her in death.

Penny worked in customer service at Taylor Made Glass in Payne. She married Dennis Snyder on September 21, 1969, at First Friends Church in Van Wert.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, Denny; two children, Jennifer (Jim) Hobeck and Benjamin (Megan), both of Lima; a brother, Richard (Carol) Hayes of Van Wert; and two grandchildren, Jacob and Julianne.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 15, at Dooley Funeral home, 5761 Ohio 500 in Payne. Burial will be in Wiltsie Cemetery in Payne.

Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, and an hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home.
