But when the President rolled out details of his plan in February,\u00a0Buy America provisions were missing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s simple &#8212; American tax dollars should support American jobs,\u201d said Brown.\u00a0\u201cThe President promised to \u2018Buy American and hire American,\u2019 and he can make good on that promise by backing our bill.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Brown has introduced\u00a0bipartisan legislation\u00a0with Portman to apply Buy America rules to all taxpayer-funded infrastructure projects.
