At the plate, Youtsey was 3-4 with a double and a solo home run, three RBI and three runs scored.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-62438\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Lincolnview-Lancer-logo-4-2015.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/>The Lancers put the game away early with four runs in the first inning and two more in the second.<\/p>\n<p>Youtsey opened the scoring with a single to center field that plated Chayten Overholt, then a two out double to left by Collin Overholt scored Youtsey and Gavin Carter. Creed Jessee\u2019s RBI single scored Overholt for the final run of the inning.<\/p>\n<p>Youtsey\u2019s second RBI of the game came in the second inning on a single that allowed Chayten Overholt to score, the Youtsey crossed home plate on a two out RBI single by Carter.<\/p>\n<p>Bluffton scored a run in the bottom of the third and the score remained 6-1 until the top of the fifth inning, when a single by Thad Walker scored Carter.<\/p>\n<p>Youtsey\u2019s home run to left center came in the top of the sixth to make it 8-1, then the Lancers scored three more runs in the seventh. Jessee singled in Ethan Kemler from second base, Walker scored Collin Overholt, then Braxton Fox plated Jessee.<\/p>\n<p>Lincolnview finished the game with 17 hits, including three by Youtsey and Carter, and two by Chayten and Collin Overholt, and Jessee.<\/p>\n<p>The Lancers (16-3, 6-1 NWC) tied a school record for wins and maintained a share of first in the conference with Crestview and Delphos Jefferson.<\/p>\n<p>Weather permitting, Lincolnview will host Paulding today.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Van Wert independent sports BLUFFTON &#8212; Jaden Youtsey did it all for Lincolnview during Wednesday\u2019s 11-1 Northwest Conference baseball win at Bluffton.
