{"id":104096,"date":"2018-06-25T06:41:46","date_gmt":"2018-06-25T11:41:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/?p=104096"},"modified":"2018-06-25T06:41:46","modified_gmt":"2018-06-25T11:41:46","slug":"vw-football-camp-to-be-held-in-july","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2018\/06\/25\/vw-football-camp-to-be-held-in-july\/","title":{"rendered":"VW Football Camp to be held in July"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Van Wert independent sports<\/em><\/p>\n<p>There is still time to register for the 2018 Van Wert Cougar Youth Football Camp, which will be held July 23-25 at the Van Wert High School football practice fields.<\/p>\n<p>The annual camp, will run from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. each day, and is open to students entering kindergarten through the eighth grade.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-97555\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/VW-Cougars_stacked-copy.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"85\" \/>Activities will include offensive\/defensive and special teams instruction, flex and agility drills, plus a competition and awards day with tug-o-war, combine testing, punt, pass and kick and an Air Force football tournament.<\/p>\n<p>Campers should wear a t-shirt and shorts. Cleats are recommended, but not required.<\/p>\n<p>The cost of the Cougar Youth Football Camp is $25, which includes a t-shirt or football.
