{"id":104456,"date":"2018-07-06T06:39:50","date_gmt":"2018-07-06T11:39:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/?p=104456"},"modified":"2018-07-06T06:40:14","modified_gmt":"2018-07-06T11:40:14","slug":"pastor-edwin-lauren-ford-jr","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2018\/07\/06\/pastor-edwin-lauren-ford-jr\/","title":{"rendered":"Pastor Edwin Lauren Ford Jr."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Pastor Edwin Lauren Ford Jr., 80, of Woodburn, Indiana, and formerly of Willshire, died at his daughter\u2019s home in Woodburn on Thursday, July 5, 2018.<\/p>\n<p>He was born in Lima on June 15, 1938, the son of Edwin Lauren Ford Sr. and Matilda (McDorman) Martin Ford, who both preceded him in death. He married the former Reva Kay Miller on June 7, 1956, and she died January 24, 2007.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-8711\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/American-Flag-for-obituaries-6-2011.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"125\" height=\"66\" \/>Surviving are two children, Kim (Matt) Feasel of Woodburn, Indiana, and Jeff (Terri) Ford of Columbus; 35 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a stepsister, JoAnn (Marvin) Reichart.<\/p>\n<p>A son, Edwin Lauren Ford III, also preceded him in death.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Funeral services will be held at noon Monday, July 9, at Praise Point Church in Willshire, with Pastor Phil Miller officiating.
