Each evening of the three-day camp will include singing, games, and refreshments. There is no cost to participate.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_104998\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-104998\" style=\"width: 545px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-104998\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Boychoir-camp-promo-pic-7-2018.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"545\" height=\"338\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-104998\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><strong>Van Wert Area Boychoir members participate in activities during last year&#8217;s summer camp<\/strong>. <em>photo provided<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The choir is directed by Phillip Winfield of Delphos with Melissa Clay as accompanist and Larry Taylor as arranger and technical director.<\/p>\n<p>The Van Wert Area Boychoir is a non-profit organization incorporated in 2004 that is open to all Van Wert area boys in grades 3-6. The mission of the\u00a0choir is to provide opportunities for boys of all backgrounds and abilities to participate in a quality musical, cultural, and educational experience. The Boychoir is financially supported by board fundraisers and the Van Wert County Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>After the camp, the choir will\u00a0resume\u00a0its regular rehearsals beginning Sunday, August 5, also at Trinity United Methodist Church in Van Wert.
