The performance is free to the public.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_105233\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-105233\" style=\"width: 350px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-105233\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/2018-VWACCB--e1532771608988.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"234\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-105233\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><strong>The Van Wert Area Community Concert Band will perform at Fountain Park August 3.<\/strong> <em>photo submitted<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Music to be featured will include selections from Disney\u2019s \u201cThe Lion King\u201d, songs of the 1960\u2019s, Sousa\u2019s \u201cWashington Post\u201d, Leroy Anderson\u2019s \u201cSyncopated Clock\u201d, and original compositions by band members Scott Turner \u201cReverie\u201d and Chip Steffey\u2019s \u201cCypress Ridge\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>A food stand will be available prior to the concert provided by the District Eastern Star starting at 5:00 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>The band, directed by Richard Sherrick, features members from Van Wert, Elgin, Delphos, Convoy, Chat, Middle Point, Coldwater, New Bremen, Maria Stein and Rockford.<\/p>\n<p>In the event of inclement weather, the program will be moved to an announced location or cancelled.
