{"id":10830,"date":"2011-07-19T00:29:02","date_gmt":"2011-07-19T05:29:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/?p=10830"},"modified":"2011-07-19T00:29:02","modified_gmt":"2011-07-19T05:29:02","slug":"vw-buckeye-youth-experiences-powwow","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2011\/07\/19\/vw-buckeye-youth-experiences-powwow\/","title":{"rendered":"VW Buckeye Youth experiences powwow"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LOUDONVILLE &#8212; Buckeye Youth recently traveled to the\u00a0Mohican Reservation near Loudonville to attend the 27th annual Great Mohican Powwow.\u00a0 The powwow is the Native American people&#8217;s way of meeting together, to join in dancing, singing, visiting and\u00a0renewing old friendships.\u00a0 The different tribes come together to\u00a0renew thought of the old ways and to preserve their rich heritage.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_10831\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-10831\" style=\"width: 250px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-10831 \" style=\"border: 1px solid black\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/Buckeye-Youth-Native-American-powwow-7-2011.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"385\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-10831\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">A young Native American dancer at the Mohican Powwow.
