{"id":120996,"date":"2019-08-05T07:01:09","date_gmt":"2019-08-05T12:01:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/?p=120996"},"modified":"2019-08-05T07:01:15","modified_gmt":"2019-08-05T12:01:15","slug":"lincolnview-to-have-annual-open-house","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2019\/08\/05\/lincolnview-to-have-annual-open-house\/","title":{"rendered":"Lincolnview to have annual open house"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>VW independent\/submitted information<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lincolnview Local Schools will be holding its annual open house Thursday, August 15, from 6-7:30 p.m. The evening serves as an open house for parents and students K-12 to visit their classrooms, meet their teachers, and bring their supplies to school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Lincolnview-Lancer-logo-4-2015.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-62438\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Class schedules for 7-12 graders will be available for pick up beginning Monday, August 12, through Wednesday, August 14, from 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Students may also pick up schedules during open house on August 15.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first day of school for Lincolnview students is Monday, August 19. Students who are new to the Lincolnview School District and have not yet scheduled or registered for classes should come to the District Office, 15945 Middle Point Road in Van Wert, or call 419.968.2226.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The K-6 Elementary school supply lists are posted on the schools website:&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lincolnview.k12.oh.us\/\">www.lincolnview.k12.oh.us<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some other information to note:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Menu prices for the 2019\/20 school year: Breakfast costs $1.30; lunch costs for grades K-5 $1.90 and $2 (Lunch A), $2.35 (Lunch B), and $2.55 for Salads for grades 6-12; $1.95 for junior high and high school; or Lunch \u201cB\u201d at $2.35.<\/li><li>All Sport passes are now on sale in the high school office: Adults ($50 &#8212; does not include admission to boys\u2019 varsity basketball games) and students ($55).<\/li><li>Have all completed vaccinations before the first day of school see the Lincolnview school\u2019s website for more information.<\/li><li>Attention 2019-20 kindergarten parents: Go to the school\u2019s website above and click on \u201cParents\u201d at the top of page and then click on \u201cElementary Parent Teacher Scheduler\u201d to schedule upcoming appointments with the kindergarten staff for a child\u2019s testing.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>VW independent\/submitted information Lincolnview Local Schools will be holding its annual open house Thursday, August 15, from 6-7:30 p.m. The evening serves as an open house for parents and students K-12 to visit their classrooms, meet their teachers, and bring their supplies to school.
