The theme of the CERT hole was Sharknado.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u201cBest Dressed Team\u201d award went to Shooter McGavin\u2019s from Central Insurance. The team consisted of Emily Hardesty, Brittany High, Emily Price, and Breanna Dennis.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"545\" height=\"447\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Chip-for-Change-unscramble-9-13-19-Best-Dressed-Team.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-122606\"\/><figcaption><strong>Best Dressed Team members Emily Hardesty, Brittany High, Emily Price, and Breanna Dennis.<\/strong> <em>United Way photo<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>A total of $2,200 was also raised during the event, according to United Way Executive Director Vicki Smith. United Way helps 29 local agencies with 33 programs, and all monies stay local, helping the Van Wert communities with food, kick-off clothing, education, and health issues.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year&#8217;s campaign slogan is Chip for a Change, Smith said.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEver find a penny on the ground?\u201d she said, noting, \u201cYour penny can grow when donated. Together, we can make a difference.
