{"id":122882,"date":"2019-09-21T07:18:22","date_gmt":"2019-09-21T12:18:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/?p=122882"},"modified":"2019-09-21T07:18:28","modified_gmt":"2019-09-21T12:18:28","slug":"reminder-ywca-voter-registration-event","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2019\/09\/21\/reminder-ywca-voter-registration-event\/","title":{"rendered":"Reminder: YWCA voter registration event"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>VW independent\/submitted information<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just a reminder that the YWCA of Van Wert County will be hosting a voter registration event on Tuesday, September 24, as a way to recognize and celebrate National Voter Registration Day.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"215\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/YWCA-voter-registration-banner-9-2019.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-122884\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Community members can join the YWCA in Eugene Bagley Alley on Tuesday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and again from 5-7 p.m. During those times, the YWCA will offer people the opportunity to register to vote and representatives from the Van Wert County Democratic Party and Van Wert County Republican Party will be available to answer questions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are very hopeful that people will come out to see us during our voter registration event,\u201d said YWCA Director of Advocacy Kelly Houg. \u201cWe feel strongly that every vote counts and matters &#8212; it matters for you, your family and your community.
