Van Wert independent sports\/submitted information<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

DEFIANCE — Van Wert\u2019s swim teams traveled to Defiance for the annual Western Buckeye League Championships on Saturday, with the Cougar boys taking fifth place, while the Lady Cougars finished ninth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shawnee won the boys\u2019 championship, while Ottawa-Glandorf captured the girls\u2019 title. Wapakoneta took runner-up for the boys and Celina finished as the runner-up in the girls events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
