Wayne TinCaps looking for performers"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>Submitted information<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FORT WAYNE (IN)<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>\u2013 The Fort Wayne TinCaps are set to host auditions to perform the National Anthem before a game at Parkview Field during the 2020 season.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Singers, instrumentalists, and groups are welcomed to try out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"150\" height=\"147\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/TinCaps2018.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-100384\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Auditions will be held at Parkview Field from 4-6 p.m. on&nbsp;Tuesday,<strong> <\/strong>February 18,&nbsp;4-6 p.m. on&nbsp;Thursday, February 20,<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>and&nbsp;between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on&nbsp;Saturday,&nbsp;February 22.<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>Those interested in trying out MUST schedule a tryout time in advance by contacting&nbsp;Sarah Kendall<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>at 260.407.2808 or&nbsp;<a>kendall@tincaps.com<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In recent years, all tryout spots have been filled within 24-48 hours. Therefore, if interested in auditioning, tryouts should be scheduled as quickly as possible.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Keep in mind, not everyone who tries out will earn an opportunity to perform before a game. Tryout participants will be evaluated by TinCaps staff members and local musicians.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Those who are selected to perform the National Anthem at one of the team\u2019s 70 scheduled regular season games will receive four tickets to the game at which they perform.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Opening Day 2020 at Parkview Field is&nbsp;Monday, April 13 (6:05 p.m.)<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>when the TinCaps host the Cincinnati Reds-affiliated Dayton Dragons.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Submitted information FORT WAYNE (IN)&nbsp;\u2013 The Fort Wayne TinCaps are set to host auditions to perform the National Anthem before a game at Parkview Field during the 2020 season.&nbsp; Singers, instrumentalists, and groups are welcomed to try out.
