COLUMBUS \u2013 Shawnee\u2019s George Mangas has been named the Division II Player of the Year by members of the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 6-3 junior averaged 30.4 points and 5.4 rebounds per game and led the Indians to a 24-0 record and the Division II regionals at Bowling Green State University, before the tournament was postponed by the Ohio High School Athletic Association. Teammate John Barker (5-10 senior, 13.9 ppg) was named to the special mention team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lima Senior\u2019s Josiah Fulcher (5-11 sophomore, 19.0 ppg) was named to the Division I All-Ohio First Team and teammate Jamir Simpson (6-5 senior, 17.5 ppg) was named to the All-Ohio Third Team. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ohio Mr. Basketball Award will be announced Wednesday. On Monday, the Division III and IV All-Ohio teams were announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
