Riggenbach has identified the young girl who died in a fatal shooting in Middle Point last Thursday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"350\" height=\"129\" src=\"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/Investigation-clipart-4-2020.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-130180\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Killed in the incident was Aubrie Moore, 4, of 301 E. Lewis St., Apt. C, in Middle Point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the sheriff, his office received a 9-1-1 call at 1:39 p.m. April 9 about a young girl with a gunshot wound. The child was transported by Middle Point EMS squad to St. Rita\u2019s Medical Center in Lima and was pronounced dead at the hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The incident remains under investigation, Sheriff Riggenbach said.
